Administration Team

In ISKR we are committed to ensure the best quality of all our staff.  Every member of the ISKR team has been carefully selected, based on the appropriate certifications, experience, and personal qualities that create the positive, professional learning environment that is ISKR.

Together with the Director of the School and the Coordinators, the following staff make up the Administrative Team.

Séamus Hennessy

BA in English, Higher Diploma in Education

Certificate in Financial Management

I was born and raised in Ireland and began my international teaching career right after leaving university. Before coming to Rwanda I lived and worked in a diverse number of countries including Saudi Arabia, France, the UAE, the United States, the British Virgin Islands, India, Togo, and Gabon. I have taught in many national and international programmes and firmly believe in the positive values of internationalism. Outside work I enjoy skiing, sailing and golf. Given the geographical element of Kigali I may concentrate more on my golf for the next few years.

Bridget Davies

Deputy Director
BA (Hons.) in French and Spanish, University of Leeds
PGCE in Spanish with French, University of Nottingham

I was educated in Europe and completed a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Modern Foreign Languages at Nottingham University. I worked in the UK, as a language teacher and head of faculty, for six years before coming to Rwanda. I have been at ISKR since it opened and have developed the French and Spanish programs. In my spare time I enjoy visiting Lake Kivu and the other beautiful parts of East Africa.

Anemone Basabakwinshi

Business & Facilities Manager

I am originally from Burundi and received my higher education in the United States. I have worked in many different institutions in the US, including my role as a mortgage loan specialist for a Fortune 500 Company, Bank of America. I have been responsible for providing high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports and handling information requests. I have also held roles in Project Management, website administrator, recruitment and retention, training and supervising, and public relations. I speak English & French fluently and consider myself a great asset to any team I join. Personally, I am motivated by my drive to seek out opportunities for positive change, and actively look for ways to improve the way things are done while promoting personal and professional development both in myself and others.

Clementine Nyinawabana


I started my carrier in Finance in 1999 with the Mibilizi Health District where I served as secretary and assistant in the Administration and Finance office. From 2002 to 2004, I worked as a secretary at Kigali Health Institute. In July-2004, I joined the Netherlands Embassy where I occupied the post of Secretary of Development Cooperation and, from 2008, I worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Administration & Finance Section after being trained in a finance software called Piramide (Oracles). Presently, I am working in the finance office of the International School of Kigali-Rwanda.

Mensiye Moses Mukarage

I am Rwandan and did most of my education in Rwanda. As a child I toured around the world singing in a choir with an organization called The African Children’s Choir, for four year we toured through the USA, Canada, UK, Northern Ireland and Denmark. We were singing, raising money for children in Africa to go to school. Now as an adult I had the pleasure of Founding a non-profit organization known as UCF (Umubyeyi Community Foundation) with a mission of helping vulnerable children in Education, Health and Livelihood. Before Joining ISKR, I worked for a research company known as Laterite Ltd, I was serving as a Field Supervisor, Data collection and Analysis. I Am the type that plans and likes to see things through.

Sylvain Ntirandekura

Project Manager
BA in Management – Southern New Hampshire University

I was born and raised in Rwanda.  I worked for different institutions that include Kepler University and BBOXX Capital Rwanda Ltd as Logistics Manager and Shop Manager Respectively. I acquired experience in different aspects of logistics and finance that include but not limited to stock control, operations cost management, purchasing, budgeting, QuickBooks, and distribution of goods. I am a self-motivated and hardworking personality, and now as the Project Manager at ISKR, I look forward to working hard for both personal and common growth.
